I am very excited to provide the middle school students with the opportunity on Friday, October 2nd to attend the special exhibit of King Tutankhaten at the Children's Museum. This exhibit allows students to take a journey back in time to Ancient Egypt to explore what life was like during the time of the great Pharaohs of Egypt.The exhibition includes artifacts representing the life of the kings and queens and illustrates the importance of kingship to the Egyptian people. The exhibit has spectacular jewelry, pottery a replica of King Tut's burial chambers, Egyptian currency, and an Egyptian marketplace. This is a unique experience for the students to get a deeper understanding of a different culture and see how advanced some ancient civilizations really were.
